He then introduced the "Crystal Baby" public welfare project. Since its establishment in 2011, the "Crystal Baby" project has raised more than 1.5 million yuan, treated 190 critically ill premature infants, and helped many impoverished families in urgent need. As the "Crystal Baby" project expert team and volunteer service team came to Aksu to establish the "Crystal Baby" assistance base and carry out activities such as free clinics, home visits, and volunteer training, the project will help more local families in need to relieve their economic burdens. He called on more caring individuals to join the volunteer team and contribute to the health of children and the friendship between Zhejiang and Aksu.
At the meeting, Director Lou Yongliang awarded the plaque to the "Crystal Baby" Charity Assistance Base of the First People's Hospital of Aksu. At the same time, the participating leaders made donations to representatives of families in need, taking a solid step towards the goal of bringing high-quality medical resources down to the community level to benefit local people and further advancing the organized aid work in Xinjiang.
